Scenic Halong Bay, with
its emerald seas, rests beautifully over the Red River
Delta. This region, "the Bay of the Descending Dragon", is
dotted with more than 3,000 mountainous islands, each with its
own unique landscape. The islands are famous for their dolomite
and limestone rock formations, many of which have been given
names. Natural grottos, fjords, land tunnels and inlets are also
common. During the Vietnam War, numerous large ships sailed
through the open waters of the bay and now an excursion by junk,
cruises or fishing boat gives you the memorable experience of
sailing past silent, sea-girt caves and around the spectacular
formations, tasting fresh and authentic Vietnamese cuisines,
breathing cool breezing from the Gulf of Tonkin and enjoying a
romantic night with your sweet hearts under the starry sky.

Day 1 :
Hanoi - Halong Bay

Pick
up from your hotel in Hanoi at 8.30 am and
leave for Gialam airport. Embark helicopter for a
1 -hour helicopter ride through the Red
River Delta to Ha Long City. Arrive in Halong we
will view towering limestone mountains, lagoons,
floating fishing villages and rugged island dotted with
pristine beaches. We then transfer
to a refurbished wooden sailing junk for a cruise
through the limestone cliffs and emerald waters of Halong Bay, giving us the chance to take in the stunning
scenery of this World Heritage Site. While on board we
will be served with tasty fresh, local seafood
lunch followed by a swim and exploring some of the
limestone caves in this area. When the sun come down we
drop anchor for the night nearby a remote island.
12h30: Board Bai Tho Junk, check-in registration
13h00: Have lunch with
welcome wine and sea food.
14h00: A fantastic
cruise in Ha Long bay
15h00. Optional
