Bat Trang handicraft village specializing in making ceramic and
pottery from the clay and white clay has been famous not only in Viet Nam but
also all around the world. The villagers in here have long-lasting traditions in
designing and making items of pottery for thousand years . With much change of
history events and society they still keep their know-how and tradition of that
up to now, Bat Trang is developing very fast now with trade of ceramic .
Dong Ky carpentry village famous for products made from w ooden
has become the favorite destination for tourists recently, in the village all
people young and old know how to do the carpentry. The families would warmly
welcomed you into their house and introduce their wooden items with their pride
and happiness .
Van Phuc silk village located west of Hanoi has been highlighted
in the north of Viet Nam, because of it local products _ Ha Dong silk. In here
they have tradition for thousand years of making, weaving silk and the quality
of silk has crossed the Viet Nam border to the world . It's so famous that the
delegations to APEC summit also come over for a visit
