Itinerary

DAY 1: Roluos and the Small Circuit
We visit the earliest temples of the Angkor period at Roluos, including Preah Ko, Bakong and Lolei for a useful chronological perspective on Angkor’s development. After lunch in town, we visit Prasat Kravan, Bat Chum, Eastern Mebon and Pre Rup.

DAY 2: The Small Circuit and Sunset over Angkor Wat
In the morning, we visit Tanei, Ta Keo, Thommanon and Chau Say Tevoda. After lunch in town, we visit jungle-clad Ta Prohm, Banteay Kdei and Sras Srang. We watch sunset over Angkor Wat.

DAY 3: Angkor Wat and the Floating Village
We travel to Phnom Krom for a cruise on the Tonle Sap, visiting floating villages. After lunch in town, we visit magnificent Angkor Wat to view its architecture and bas reliefs. Dinner and overnight in Siem Reap.

DAY 4: Banteay Srei and Kbal Spean
We make an early morning visit to Angkor Wat to watch sunrise, before continuing north to visit the elegant temple of Banteay Srei and the riverbed carvings of Kbal Spean. After lunch, we visit Preah Khan, Neak Poan and Banteay Samre.

DAY 5: Angkor Thom and the Western Baray
We visit the sites of Angkor Thom, including Victory Gate, the Bayon, Baphuon, Phimean Akas and the Terraces of the Elephants and the Leper King. After lunch in town, we visit Artisans d’Angkor and the Western Baray. We transfer to the airport for the onward flight.
